Sickness…

This past week or so I have been fighting a cold and a cough.  Meran has been so great taking care of me.  We were going to go to an electronics class on Saturday (the class was on e-textiles. Both Meran and I were looking forward to it).  But I wasn’t feeling up to it so instead she came to my place and made me chicken noodle soup.  It was more amazing than I remember it being (But I guess that’s how it works when you are sick.  Or maybe it was because Meran made it…).

That evening we also had a great meal.  Meran brought some great thick steaks.  So I fired up my grill and cooked them to a nice medium doneness while Meran cooked up some green beans, potatoes and rolls  Like the soup, this was a great meal.

I was still sick enough to stay home from work on Monday.  She came over once again and took care of me. We watched a couple movies and Meran made some great biscuits and gravy. Before we knew it, she had to leave to go to school.

So while I hate being sick, it has been a while since I have been spoiled like that.  Thank you to my wonderful fiancee. It was still a great weekend with you.
