Camp

This past weekend I had my first Walker family camp experience.  The Walker family gets together for a week or two every year.  I had a great time. The first day there was a little overwhelming meeting soon to be new relatives and seeing everyone I had met already again.  But it was still nice.  Day one was relaxing overall.

Day two… the work begins.  The Walkers seem to think that work is fun on vacation.
So they build cabins.                                I joined them.

Day Three was rainy.  So it was a relaxing non work day.  But I still helped a bit in one of the nearly done buildings.
Day four was Sunday.  We had a worship service on our own.  Dave, Karen and Steve lead
Meran also got to have a bridal shower with some of the friends in that area.
Day five was the last day Meran and I were staying.  I helped Dave do some logging before we had to go mid morning.  We ended up getting to the airport late and missing our flight but we got “upgraded” to exit row seats on the next mornings flight so I was happy that I could sit comfortably.
I had a great time.  I can’t wait to see everyone next year.
